And while we are a relatively young company, we have decades of experience in building and delivering value through enterprise business systems.

KeyedIn Solutions was founded in October, 2011 by former EPICOR® CEO George Klaus and EVP of Worldwide Sales and Services, Lauri Klaus. After growing EPICOR® to its point of sale at $976M, the Klaus’ began to quickly embark on a new venture with Lauri Klaus at the helm. Their vision was to create the next generation of enterprise business systems developed in the Cloud and delivered via a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model. Their vision was KeyedIn Solutions and this is our story.

The Right Cloud Solutions at the Right Time

Based on deep knowledge of the enterprise software market, KeyedIn had early insight into the value of the Cloud. Specifically, the opportunity it presented to deliver vertically-focused systems that could affordably scale to serve the needs of the under-served small-to-medium size business market as well as large multi-national organizations. Both industry analysts – and clients – have since validated this strategy as more and more organizations are looking to the Cloud to enable enterprise systems.

Early Growth through Strategic Acquisitions

Just after the inception of the company, KeyedIn finalized its first acquisition. In December 2011, KeyedIn Solutions acquired a majority interest in, and management of Datacom International for its portfolio of resource rich applications for the sign, print and discrete manufacturing industries. This event was quickly followed with the acquisition of U.K.-based Atlantic Global in February 2012 for its stronghold in Western Europe and cadre of applications supporting professional service organizations and project portfolio management.

Sustainable Growth through Rapid Custom Development

Following these acquisitions, KeyedIn embarked on a worldwide expansion effort, localizing the company’s software applications to support multiple languages and adding KeyedIn locations across the globe. The expansion included opening a research and development facility in Ireland where technology from the company’s third acquisition set to further transform the business. In September 2012, KeyedIn acquired Outline Software, Ltd. and ICEBERG.  ICEBERG, a Rapid Application Development (RAD) platform developed in Ireland, is now branded Konfigure . Konfigure allows the company to quickly develop software solutions to support the unique needs of the vertical markets it serves. Following this acquisition, Konfigure was deployed to develop a new ERP system to support the needs of custom manufacturers. This system, KeyedIn Manufacturing , was ready for market within just a few months. All future Cloud-based business applications developed by KeyedIn will be based on this platform, enabling the company to bring new solutions to market in record time.
